Vendors achieving the NCQA AMP Measure Certificate have demonstrated they can deliver accurate and reliable results using their software code.
Santa Clara, CA – qrcAnalytics, an analytics and service company that develops innovative technology and services for value-based healthcare organizations is pleased to announce it has met the requirements specified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for Align Measure and Performance (AMP) Certification for MY2019 (Measurement Year 2019).
This is the 2nd consecutive year of meeting the requirements and obtaining the certification.
The California AMP program is the largest quality-focused initiative in the U.S. It is a statewide program managed by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) in cooperation with the major insurers in the healthcare market. The AMP program is the first program in the nation to focus on quality initiatives. Many other quality programs implement some, and in some cases all of the IHA quality measures.
The NCQA AMP certification is a yearly, rigorous process that compares the vendor’s quality measure results to expected NCQA results, therefore verifying that the code in the vendor’s software computes the measures correctly. Upon successful completion of all measures NCQA issues a final certification report and seal indicating that the vendor can process and compute quality measures accurately.
“Collectively with my team, we designed the qrcEngine™ to provide the highest quality reporting and submissions along with care and risk management based on the NCQA and CMS rules. Our ability to complete the rigorous certification process shows our commitment to quality and ability to provide industry-leading tools and services to our clients. We strive to provide a solution that can handle large volumes of data, calculate accurate results, and provide our clients with actionable information to enable these clients to not only report their scores, but to provide ways to improve the quality of care to patients and to be fairly compensated for their successes.” said Gene Rondenet, Founder and CEO, CTO at qrcAnalytics.
Federal, State, and other entities using a third-party vendor for calculation of measure will be required to use a NCQA certified vendor in measurement year 2020. Health plans and organizations using NCQA-Certified vendors save time by eliminating the annual manual source code review portion of the measure Compliance Audit.
